Malcolm has been responsible for tax assignments in a wide range of industry sectors, especially in the area of property development and ownership. He has provided consulting services to large corporate groups, international property syndicates and high net worth individuals.
Malcolm has extensive experience in dealing with the taxation office and has sought numerous product and private rulings.
Malcolm's clients know that they can rely on his professional advice because he keeps pace with the myriad of new tax laws, test cases, rulings and determinations.

Sector experience
As a Director in Grant Thornton's Taxation Services Division, Malcolm Wight is responsible for managing a significant proportion of the firm's tax responsibilities. Malcolm provides his clients with technical tax support in the areas of income tax, capital gains tax, GST and fringe benefits tax.

• Member of Institute of Chartered Accountants
• Malcolm is actively involved with the Taxation Institute of Australia and is a past Chairman of its Education division; and is current Chairman of its State Council.
