I joined Grant Thornton in 1995 and have appreciated the firm's practical and positive approach to its clients.

My key area of responsibility is Audit and Assurance services. These days, that requires far more than just signing an Audit Opinion – it's far more pro-active.

Two of my recent interesting assignments have been delivery of various accounting and business services to the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders Commission (ATSIC) and a due diligence review in China.

I believe a good accountant needs to have a commercial perspective, a "can do" attitude and a pro-active approach to meeting their client's needs. This firm has those qualities – whether it involves working locally, in remote parts of South Australia or overseas.
