Experience
In 1981 joined the firm that is now known as Grant Thornton and in 1985 he became a Partner.
During the time that Les has worked in Audit he has gained expertise in statutory and special purpose audits, special investigations, performance reviews, and corporate reorganisations.
Sector experience
Les is a member of the Grant Thornton Assurance, Technology Applications Committee, focusing on the development of future audit technologies. He is also a member of the Grant Thornton International Client Acceptance and Maintenance Committee, representing Grant Thornton in Asia Pacific at the Large Professional Firms’ risk management meetings.
He is a practicing accountant representative on the Australian Institute of Chartered Accountants Education Board.
Throughout his career as an audit partner at Grant Thornton Brisbane Les has, and continues to have, a strong involvement with not for profit organisations.
