Experience

Sian has over twelve years experience working with family owned businesses, including organisations with worldwide operations, assisting with all taxation, accounting and general business consulting. She has assisted many clients in the start up and growth phases of business, through to those looking to realise their wealth via exit strategies.

Sian began her career in business services in 1994 and has attended to the compliance needs of both Australian and international businesses. Her experience also includes various consulting assignments for groups including restructures, acquisitions and sale of businesses, valuations and succession planning.

Sector experience

Sian spent four years with Grant Thornton in Melbourne in Business Advisory Services as a manager specialising in privately owned businesses.

During this time she also did a secondment with a Grant Thornton member firm in the USA. Sian then returned to Brisbane in August 2005 and commenced with Grant Thornton Brisbane

in the Privately Held Business Services division and was appointed to Director in 2007. In 2008 Sian transferred to the Taxation Services area, assisting key clients of the firm with tax risk management.
