Experience
Sian has over fifteen years experience providing taxation services, accounting and general business consulting to privately owned businesses.  She has assisted many clients from the start up and growth phases of business, through to those looking to realise their wealth via exit strategies.

Sian began her career in business services in Brisbane and has attended to the compliance needs of both Australian and international businesses with experience in consulting assignments for large groups including restructures, sale and acquisition of businesses and consolidations.

Sector experience
After commencing her career in Brisbane, Sian then spent four years in the Melbourne Grant Thornton office, specialising in the needs of privately owned businesses. In 2004 Sian was seconded to Grant Thornton in the USA, working on a forensic accounting project.  She returned to Brisbane in 2005 and commenced working with Grant Thornton Brisbane, where she was appointed as a Director in 2007.  Sian is now one of our Directors in the Taxation Services area assisting key clients of the Brisbane office with tax risk management.

Industry Experience
Sian has extensive experience with businesses in the property development and construction industry and oversees the general taxation requirements of a number of key participants in this industry in the Brisbane market.
