Experience
Sian has over eighteen years experience providing taxation services, accounting and general business consulting to privately owned businesses. She has assisted many clients from the start up and growth phases of business, through to those looking to realise their wealth via exit strategies.

Sian began her career in business services in Brisbane and has attended to the compliance needs of both Australian and International businesses with experience in consulting assignments for large groups including restructures, sale and acquisition of businesses and consolidations.

Background
After commencing her career in Brisbane, Sian spent four years in the Melbourne Grant Thornton office, specialising in the needs of privately owned businesses. Sian has also spent time in the USA, working on a large forensic accounting project. She returned to Brisbane in 2005, where she was appointed as a Partner in our Tax team in 2007 and assists key clients with tax risk management.  Sian now heads up our National Real Estate and Construction Industry Group and is part of the Grant Thornton International Industry Group.

Sian has extensive experience with businesses in the property development and construction industry and oversees the general taxation requirements of a number of key participants in this industry.
