Experience
Eric has over 20 years of diverse experience in the accounting profession, specialising in the provision of audit and assurance services and forensic accounting and litigation support.  His portfolio of clients includes public listed companies, private owner-operated businesses and not-for-profit organisations, spanning manufacturing, technology, insurance, retail, education and service industries.

Eric successfully combines his technical and commercial knowledge with a strong appreciation of the demands experienced by businesses, to offer relevant and respected advice to his clients. 

Eric has been seconded to clients in financial controller positions for periods of up to 3 months in manufacturing, retail and hotel sectors.  Eric has overseen the management accounting, financial accounting and treasury functions on these engagements. These engagements have provided him with invaluable experience in the operation and management of businesses.

Eric has previously held the role of Administration Partner in a professional services practice responsible for the accounting, HR and IT functions of the practice.  During this time, Eric oversaw the implementation of the firm’s time-costing and finance systems, had a hands-on role in the development and implementation of the policies, implemented new budgeting procedures and financial reporting practices and modernised the governance structure of the firm.

Eric is called upon to provide expert evidence in auditor/accountant professional negligence cases for legal proceedings, commercial disputes, insurance claims and disciplinary proceedings.  Eric is a member of CPA Australia’s

Disciplinary Committee, and has been appointed as CPA Australia’s delegate to the Companies Auditors and Liquidators Disciplinary Board to apply his skills and expertise as an auditor in hearing ethical and professional negligence complaints brought against accountants.
