Experience

Mark has worked as a professional service provider for most of his career. The last 12 years were primarily focused on the delivery of advisory services to the Automotive manufacturing sector. Mark played a key role in the development of the KPMG Automotive team and in 2000 was instrumental in developing the Deloitte Automotive Advisory team. In 2003 Mark accepted the current role of leading our Australian Automotive Advisory Team.

Prior to Mark’s focus on the Automotive sector Mark spent 7 years with KPMG Corporate Recovery services and was based in Hong Kong for four years.

Sector experience

Mark is a recognised commentator on automotive industry issues and has worked with many companies in developing strategies for reorganisation, growth and divestment.

Mark played an active role in the last two reviews of the automotive industry including the development of corporate submissions for major industry participants and attending a number of formal interviews.

Mark has completed various projects for more than 80 automotive businesses and as a leading practitioner, he has also worked closely with the various automotive industry associations and completed several major assignments for the FCAI, FAPM, TIFA and the AAAA.
