Nick Mellos is a Director at Grant Thornton Melbourne specialising in corporate recovery and reorganisation. Nick is a Registered Trustee in Bankruptcy and is one of the few Insolvency Practitioners that specialises in Personal Bankruptcy and Part X arrangements.

Experience

With over 15 years of insolvency experience Nick heads the personal insolvency team at Grant Thornton. Nick joined Grant Thornton in 1995 after having worked for various insolvency firms. Nick's vast experience in personal insolvency commenced with his work in the Insolvency and Trustee Service, Australia. 

Sector experience

Nick has had experience in high profile bankruptcies and negotiated Part X arrangements for individuals with millions of dollars in debt.

Nick provides individuals and their financiers with a detailed assessment of an individual's position, incorporation an independant investigative report.

Nick also continues to be involved in corporate administrations, reconstruction assignments and independent lending reviews on behalf of financial institutions.

Community involvement
In his spare time Nick is a keen golfer and enjoys spending time with his family on warm days down the Mornington Peninsula.
