Experience
Andrew has been with Grant Thornton since 1987, including a two-year secondment to the London office.  He has been a partner since 1999 and is currently National Head of Audit. 

He is responsible for co-ordinating audit and other services to a diverse portfolio of clients, including listed companies, international groups, large proprietary companies and not-for-profit organisations. 

In addition to his client service role, Andrew is involved in technical matters including financial reporting, accounting standards, assurance and quality control.  Andrew was an alternate member of the former Urgent Issues Group and was a member of the Grant Thornton IFRS Interpretations Group, which is responsible for ensuring consistent application of IFRS globally. 

Andrew also serves on the NSW Council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and is an Adjunct Professor at University of Technology, Sydney.

Andrew participates in various technical discussion groups, is a regular presenter of technical materials on Audit and Financial Reporting for the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and has authored various technical papers and articles.
