Experience

Neil joined the accountancy profession in 1988 and trained in the Audit division of a regional firm before joining a large independent national firm in the UK in 1994.

Qualifying in 1996, Neil helped set up a specialist consultancy group which focused on improving financial performance, ad-hoc projects and assisting businesses which were in financial or operational difficulties.

Neil joined Grant Thornton, Sydney in October 2000 and has been integral in the development of the Corporate Finance Group and became a Director in 2004.

Neil currently leads the Transaction Advisory Services team supporting private equity and corporate clients on acquisitions, divestments and listings across Australia. Neil is also the contact point supporting international clients making acquisitions in Australia.
