Said has over ten years experience in corporate recovery and turnaround. Before joining Grant Thornton he worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers and Ferrier Hodgson where he developed his specialisation in turnaround and corporate restructuring.

Following completion of his MBA at the AGSM he is well equipped to assist clients in tackling not only operational and imminent liquidity problems they may be facing but more importantly the underlying strategic issues around their business.

With an industry focus on mining and resources, Said has provided the full range of services to clients from investigative accountant, pre-lending due diligence and solvency reports through to receiverships and voluntary administrations.

Recent engagements include Basis Yield Alpha Fund (Master), Sydney Ferries and Jenolan Caves Resort.
