Shirley heads our Enterprise advisory and risk services division.
 
Prior to joining Grant Thornton, Shirley has had over 14 years experience with Big 4 accounting firms in senior management; including over 12 years with Ernst & Young. Shirley has worked in Asia Pacific, UK and Australian markets.
 
International experience has allowed Shirley to provide valuable advice to clients on international and cross border investments from a market as well as a compliance level.
 
In her strategic relationships with emerging clients, she actively advises on key issues associated with growth, transactions, acquisition as well as change strategies.
 
She has assisted clients in areas such as business acquisition reviews, financial and vendor due diligence, strategic and business planning, and performance improvement including developing strategy aligned key performance indicators.
 
Her responsibilities also include consulting directly with audit committee and CFOs on their internal controls, risk management framework, corporate governance and risk management strategies. She has also project-managed implementation of internal controls and risk management procedures and monitoring.
Her portfolio of experience includes both public and private sector clients, multinationals, publicly listed as well as entrepreneurial growth clients.
