Trevor Mark Pogroske was appointed Provisional Liquidator of MUUL on 4 May 2007. Subsequently, following orders issued by Justice Lindgren in the Federal Court of Australia on 23 May 2007, SAM was placed into Liquidation with Trevor Mark Pogroske appointed Official Liquidator.

SAM undertook a number of functions and roles including operating a bar, cafes, food court, retail outlets and student groups/societies at Macquarie University, Sydney NSW.

The Liquidator, together with the executives and staff of Macquarie University, SAM and Venues commenced a process of developing a restructuring proposal which has enabled the business to operate under the auspices of a new group structure, U@MQ Ltd. We advise that this process has now been completed and on 20 July 2007 the business was transferred to U@MQ Ltd.
