Cadetship Recruitment
A traineeship at Grant Thornton offers you the opportunity to gain practical experience whilst studying your degree at university. We develop our trainees business acumen and personal skills and provide a structured career path.
We seek students in Year 12 who expect to successfully complete their secondary studies before undertaking a relevant business-focused degree with an accounting major. We look for students with a strong academic record, developed interpersonal skills, wide outside interests and, ideally, some relevant work experience.
Most states offer their trainees the option of accelerating their degree. You work full-time with the firm and study part-time for the first year. For the subsequent two years, you study full-time in the first semester of each year and work full-time and study part-time for the remainder of the year. You receive financial assistance whilst studying full-time to assist in covering the costs of your study and alleviate the need for a part-time job.
Applications for our 2014 cadetship program will open soon.
