Facing an uncertain future:  Government intervention threatens the global mining sector

Increasing and unpredictable government intervention across the globe is adding further complextity to a sector that is already heavily laden with risk.


JUMEX survey

This survey examines the views of junior mining and exploration companies in Australia, and was completed in July 2011, prior to the announcement of the Gillard Government's Carbon Scheme. The results reveal a buoyant outlook for the JUMEX community, even though there is still much volatility in their environment.
