Grant Thornton wins the M&A Accounting and Due Diligence firm of the year, 2009

Grant Thornton India was recently awarded the 2009 M&A Atlas Awards Asia Pacific Middle Markets Accounting and Due Diligence Firm of the Year. The other nominees for the award this year included the Big-4 firms and an international consulting firm. The award was conferred to us by Global M&A Network at the M&A summit held at the Taj Hotel in Mumbai on Tuesday, 13 October.

Considered the Gold Standard of Performance, the annual M&A Atlas Awards® honor top deals, dealmakers, firms from the mergers and acquisitions community, and leaders from the Asia Pacific region for their keen understanding of market complexities in the middle market and their supreme skills for executing deals.  

Winners of  the award are chosen by a prestigious awards committee, based on the novelty and significance of completed transactions; complexity of jurisdiction and markets; ingenuity of deal structures; resiliency and leadership of the team; outcome of the value generated by the transactions, market presence and specialties, performance attributes, experience, team leadership, and resourcefulness.
