The new Resource Assessment Grants program has been designed for Victorian manufacturers with less than 200 employees who are interested in improving their profitability by reducing energy and materials costs.

A round of funding is now open for materials assessments and for combined material and energy assessments until Friday 5 August 2016.

Funding of up to $10,000 is available to cover 50 per cent of the cost to engage a consultant to conduct a resource assessment of your operations.

A $3000 implementation support bonus is available for businesses that can show evidence of implementing one or more recommendations from their assessment.

Grant Thornton is working with a specialist provider, Greenstreets, to undertake these assessments.
