Director - Grant Thornton Consulting
Technology Risk

Daniel joined Grant Thornton Consulting in September 2019 as a Director in the Business Risk Services practice specialising in technology risk. Daniel leads technology risk engagements in Sydney with a focus on security, access, change management, project management and processing integrity. As part of this role, Daniel also leads Grant Thornton Sydney’s non-audit assurance offerings including engagements performed under industry frameworks such as ASAE 3402, GS 007 and SOC-2.

Daniel spent the first 11 years of his career with PwC in the Sydney and Dallas, Texas (USA) offices, where he led the “Third Party Trust” service offering which focused on building trust between suppliers and consumers by testing that systems and processes were accurate and secure.

Having worked primarily in highly regulated industries such as financial services and superannuation, Daniel understands the importance of integrity and quality in information systems. He takes pride, however, in providing practical advice to his clients based on their size, industry and strategic objectives.
