Louise McCann is a Non-Executive Director (NED) with a diverse portfolio including ASX, public and private firms across the technology, media, health, education, accounting, financial and professional services sectors. Louise is also Chairman of the CEO Institute for SME growth companies with revenues of $10m–$100m and mentors young entrepreneurs in the digital, technology and start-up companies.
Louise’s executive career was as a CEO and senior executive in the media, commercial market research, brand and communications sectors in Australia, New Zealand and Asia including as CEO for Research International (WPP Group) and Hall & Partners (Omnicom Group). As a result Louise also has a keen understanding of global professional services firms and partnership. Her strong commercial acumen and marketing and communications expertise ensures she understands well the intersections between strategy, innovation digital disruption and technology.
Louise’s current NED portfolio comprises ASX-listed Macquarie Media Network, Credit Union Australia Limited (CUA), University of Notre Dame Australia, Australian Physiotherapy Association and Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand. From April 2011 until August 2015 Louise was a NED with ASX iiNet Limited and chaired the Remuneration and Nominations committee. iiNet was sold to TPG to form Australia second largest telecommunications company in August 2015.
