Grant Thornton welcomes Katie O’Keeffe as a new partner in our Melbourne office. Formerly Director of Human Capital Consulting at Deloitte, Katie is a dynamic and driven leadership and learning specialist.

With a background as an elite triathlete and coach, Katie has translated her experience working in high performance sports into developing high performing leaders and teams for clients across a wide range of industries including professional services, higher education, financial services, telecommunications, energy and resources, public sector, health, defence and retail.

“Over the last 15 years I have worked with many of Australia’s largest and most iconic institutions and organisations to impact transformational change through their leaders and teams. In my experience the team is the unit that impacts greatest change on an organisation and my ambition is to change the world one team at a time. As the world of work continues to change and become more complex, the expectations of our leaders and teams is also changing – creativity, curiosity, courage and complex problem solving are all essential ingredients for the future,” Katie O’Keeffe said.

“One of the hardest things for our clients to sustainably change is their culture, and we are investing in leaders who can not only advise clients on what good leadership looks like, but can partner with our clients to embed, measure, and sustain a great leadership and a positive culture that benefits the whole organisation. We have no doubt that our clients will be inspired by Katie’s energy and expertise in this space,” Paul Billingham, Head of Grant Thornton Consulting, said.

Katie joins Matt Croxford, National Head of Human Capital based in Sydney, in our expanding offering across human capital, leadership strategy and change management.
