In Focus: Lessons learned from 30 June 2021

Traditionally, reflecting on the 30 June financial reports of listed entities provides guidance around some practical issues that private companies are likely to encounter when preparing their financial statements. This year, however, looking back on these financial reports helps us understand what listed entities can learn for next reporting season.

In particular, we look at common queries arising, expected trends in surveillance by ASIC, and the potential ramifications for companies and those charged with governance.

Watch this webinar on-demand as we're joined by Merilyn Gwan, Grant Thornton's Head of National Assurance Quality, to discuss the roles and responsibilities of management and directors, and dive into some common issues that are likely to be on ASIC’s radar in the new year.
