The do's and don’ts of digital transformation

Digital transformation is increasingly becoming a top priority for boards and CEO’s, though its complexity is often underestimated and having an experienced and knowledgeable Program and Project Manager is frequently overlooked.

In the words of Benjamin Franklin “if you fail to plan, you are planning to fail”.

In the absence of quality project management, digital transformation projects can quickly fail for a number of reasons: missed milestones, resistance to change and lack of engagement in new systems and processes to name a few. However good communication along the way coupled with buy-in from all stakeholders and demonstrating tangible, positive outcomes that the change is effecting will see the project succeed.

In this webinar, Ian Renwood, Partner and National Head of Technology Consulting are joined by Vivek Khatri, acting Chief Executive Officer at Standard Communications (GME), and Larry Cohen, Projects Director and Senior Manager at Grant Thornton, who has over 20 years of experience in Program and Project delivery, Project turnaround and IT Governance.

Ian, Vivek and Larry discuss the complexity of digital transformation and its benefits if properly executed. Drawing on their experience, they touch on key lessons learned and insights gathered from a large, whole of organisation transformation completed earlier this year by GME.
