Online ability assessments are used as a way to assist us to identify candidates with the right capabilities and fit for Grant Thornton. Depending on the role you are applying for you will typically be asked to complete 4 online tests (which may include verbal and numerical reasoning, logical reasoning, situational judgment and work style preferences).
For all roles below Director, you will receive an email with your individual login needed to complete the test. Once you login to commence your online assessment you will see a short introduction with descriptions of the test exercises. This is followed by an interactive sequence in which the test is explained to you in greater detail. To ensure that you have understood the exercise properly, you are required to complete a few exemplary exercises with no time limit so you can get a feel for the questions. After the examples, a final page appears, in which the most important points regarding the test are summarised. You can also find example questions and tests here: http:\\getstarted.cut-e.com
When you begin with the actual test, you will have a set time limit of between 5 and 15 minutes depending on the test (except for the personality related questions which are untimed). Note that once you start the test you cannot restart. Typically, you will be given 48 hours to complete all the necessary tests on line so you don’t have to do them all at the same time.
In order to set yourself up for success, be sure to have a good night’s sleep before you complete the assessments and make sure you have everything you need to feel comfortable. When completing the assessments, please ensure that you are in a quiet environment where you will not be disturbed to ensure that you are able to perform at your best. We recommend completing the assessments on a desktop or laptop computer. Do not use iphones or iPads.
All Director, Principal and Partner candidates will be contacted by our vendors directly to organise the assessments.
If you experience any problems completing the online assessments, please contact cut-e via email: firstname.lastname@example.org.
