Partner & Head of Audit & Assurance – Cairns

Andrew is a partner with responsibility for the delivery of audit and compliance services in the Audit & Assurance division in Cairns with over 25 years of experience over a broad range of industries and sectors.

Andrew has significant experience in the provision of these services, particularly in external and internal auditing, financial accounting and consulting gained in public practice both in the UK and Australia.

Andrew has had extensive experience in dealing not only with large private and public organisations but also with smaller and middle-sized businesses, many of which are owned by families or a small group of individuals. Understanding each stakeholders needs and requirements is key to being able to deliver the appropriate service to them.

Andrew is currently the engagement partner for North Queensland Airports Group and the Reef Casino Trust, which is publicly listed on the ASX.

Andrew is the engagement partner for a number of other entities. The following are a section from his current portfolio: Cairns Christian College Limited and the schools and colleges with the Roman Catholic Diocese of Cairns. Until recently, Andrew was the auditor of Trinity Petroleum Services Pty Ltd and Groote Eylandt and Bickerton Island Enterprises Aboriginal Corporation on Groote Eylandt. Andrew is also a contract auditor for the Queensland Audit Office, specialising in local government.
