Grant Thornton returns as sponsor for the Australian Growth Company Awards

The Australian Growth Company Awards (AGCA) are now open for nominations to eligible companies. This year marks the 10th Anniversary of the Australian Growth Company Awards, which celebrates companies that demonstrate high rates of sustainable growth, innovation, integrity, and contribution to the community.

To enter, a company must be at least 50 per cent Australian owned or listed in Australia; or have significant operations in Australia, have been in business for more than two years; and demonstrate annual turnover in the range of AUD$25 million to $600 million. The ‘Company to Watch’ category entrants must have a minimum annual turnover requirement of AUD$5 million.

The Winners will be announced at the Awards Ceremony at The Ivy in Sydney on Thursday, 13 October 2022.

Paul Gooley, Partner and Head of Corporate Finance at Grant Thornton, said: “The domestic economic landscape has responded to the pandemic with high levels of growth, despite the challenges presented by interest rate rises and high inflation, and as a result many Australian businesses are working harder than ever before. It’s important these businesses, their owners, and employees are recognised for their efforts and the Australian Growth Company Awards celebrate these achievements in categories covering innovation, community, and sustainable growth. In addition, the Awards can help businesses to improve recognition, raise their profile, and potentially attract investors and business partners.”

Grant Thornton joins other headline sponsors including Hamilton Locke, Ansarada, MA Financial Group, ASX, and Source.
