Grant Thornton welcomes new transfer pricing Partner

Grant Thornton is delighted to announce the appointment of Christine Cornish to our Transfer Pricing team in National Specialist tax. 

Commencing on Monday 13 March 2023, Christine brings 20 years of experience working in the Transfer Pricing field in both professional firms and inhouse tax teams. 

After working at big four banks including NAB and ANZ, Christine has specialised industry experience in Financial Services and also has a deep understanding of various industries including property, manufacturing, retail and professional services.

“It’s great to join Grant Thornton’s specialist transfer pricing team, and I am excited to understand our client’s unique challenges and transfer pricing needs in this complex international environment,” Christine said.

“The need for assistance in this space is becoming increasingly important, particularly with the growing digital economy providing businesses with new opportunities to expand into other countries.”

Cross border business dealings with related parties can often have significant tax implications, with the ATO regularly reviewing the transfer pricing aspect of international arrangements. Grant Thornton offers tailored local and global transfer pricing solutions, helping clients to manage the transfer pricing lifecycle of multi-jurisdictional business.

In addition, Christine regularly presents at TIA conferences, has experience on the Future Leaders Committee of the Property Industry Foundation and was previously Co-Chair Tax Transfer Pricing Sub Committee - Capital Markets Tax Committee (Asia), an Asian financial services industry body.
