Grant Thornton congratulates new Partners and Principals from 1 July

Grant Thornton is proud to welcome 12 new Partners and two new Principals from July 1 across the various service lines at the firm.

These promotions are a direct reflection of the hard work and exceptional client service delivered by each of the new Partners and Principals.

Heather Gouveia, Partner – Private Business Tax & Advisory based in Grant Thornton’s Brisbane office, said, “Working as part of the Private Business Tax & Advisory team at Grant Thornton has allowed me to enjoy collaborating with clients to provide holistic, practical and technical advice tailored to their specific business needs. My transition to Partner has been made possible as the team at Grant Thornton are truly positive and they have constructively challenged me and brought out my best along the way.

Thomas Caldow, Partner – Forensic Consulting based in Grant Thornton’s Melbourne office, said, “Having spent my entire career in forensics, I have gained a deep understanding of the complexity involved in expert witness reports and how they are perceived by the Courts. This enables me to have robust and productive conversations with clients and their legal teams in seeking to achieve the best possible outcomes. The Forensics team at Grant Thornton has provided me with many opportunities for learning, and each individual’s unique experience has taught me many valuable lessons along my career journey to Partner.

Grant Thornton is proudly an accounting firm who proactively performs a very trusted role for its clients; it also sets goals to promote efficiencies and provide a people-focused experience for all its team members. This group of new Partners and Principals is the largest Grant Thornton has seen in several years which is a direct result of the investment the firm has made into its people and creating a genuine and rewarding place to work.

Over the past 12 months Grant Thornton has welcomed the following new Partners and Principal, both from internal promotions and externally – congratulations to them all once again. These appointments bring the total number of Partners in the firm to 176.
