Shivani joined Grant Thornton in January 2018, having come from a remuneration taxes background.

“I’m passionate about what I do – every aspect of it, and at Grant Thornton there are always a lot of opportunities to try new things… and there is also mentoring within the team!”

Having left Grant Thornton to try an industry role in an engineering company, Shivani says that the experience on the client side has given her insight into what goes on in the background.

“It allows me to have more informed conversations with our clients and also understand the complexities that they potentially may encounter.”

While she was away, Shivani says that the communication from her team ensured she did not lose the connection with Grant Thornton. So what made her come back?

“Definitely the team! It’s a very supportive environment – so it was an easy decision. There is a very supportive network and a huge care factor at Grant Thornton!”

And what sets us apart?

“The nature of the work is always changing – so it keeps it interesting. There is also a lot more collaboration within the teams, which makes it a lot easier.”
