Grant Thornton announces four new Partners

Grant Thornton is excited to announce the appointment of four new Partners within the Risk Consulting, Sustainability Reporting Advisory, and National Assurance Quality service lines.

These four appointments reinforce Grant Thornton’s uncompromising commitment to audit quality, and expanding its specialist service offerings for clients, particularly in the technology risk and internal audit, and sustainability sectors.

The recent new Partner appointments include:

Alex Stepanyants joins our Risk Consulting practice with over 20 years of experience specialising in internal audit, governance, risk management, and internal controls transformation, with capability across public sector as well as corporate industries. His experience includes working with clients within the Transport & Infrastructure, Energy & Natural Resources and National Security & Justice sectors in Australia and UK.

Kevin Mar Fan brings 30 years of experience in enterprise and technology risk management, working with major public and private sector clients across Australia, the USA, and Europe. His recent work has focused on supporting organisations to adopt artificial intelligence (AI) responsibly.

David Pitts is a sustainability specialist with more than 18 years of experience in both Australia and the United Kingdom, supporting clients across a range of industries with sustainability strategy, reporting and assurance. His recent focus has been on helping organisations to prepare for Australia’s first round of mandatory climate disclosures and assurance.

Laura Woodman joins Grant Thornton’s Assurance Quality practice with over 25 years’ experience in complex multi-national audits and in national quality roles across Australia and the United Kingdom.

These four new partner additions follow the appointment of 26 new Partners and Principals over the last six months, bringing the total number of Partners to 191.
