Grant Thornton appointed Administrators of Thinxtra entities

On Sunday 7 December 2025 Grant Thornton Partners Phil Campbell-Wilson and Lisa Gibb were appointed as Voluntary Administrators for Thinxtra Limited, Thinxtra Solutions Pty Ltd and Thinxtra Network Pty Ltd.

Thinxtra offerings provide low-power, wide-area connectivity alongside IoT devices and data services and include asset and fleet tracking, smart facilities management, and utility monitoring, primarily serving sectors such as logistics, property management, and utilities.

The Administrators of Thinxtra Limited now seek urgent EOIs by 12pm AEDT on Thursday, 11 December 2025, to acquire the business and assets.

Investment highlights include:

  • Provider of IoT solutions with exclusive rights to the only national, public, low-power 0G network and Soracom cellular connectivity across Australia.
  • FY25 revenue c.$4.7m, with c.88% recurring and a gross profit margin of 52%.
  • Diverse customer base across transport, utilities, retail, manufacturing, healthcare, and smart infrastructure.
  • Technology portfolio including asset tracking, smart utilities, and smart facilities.
  • Exclusive distribution agreements and strategic partnerships.
  • Thinxtra Limited, within its APAC network, has 100% owned subsidiary operations in New Zealand and Hong Kong that are not subject to the Administration but can be part of the sale.
