Grant Thornton Cairns announces key promotions and new leadership appointments

Grant Thornton’s Cairns office announces the expansion of its local leadership team, with the promotion of a new Partner and three new Directors.

The region continues to see sustained demand for advisory, tax and assurance services, with the Cairns team experiencing strong growth as businesses across Far North Queensland seek specialised guidance. The expansion of the local leadership team ensures the firm is well‑positioned to support organisations navigating the region’s evolving economic landscape – from tourism and agribusiness to construction, health, and emerging investment sectors.

These new appointments reflect both the firm’s commitment to recognising local internal talent and continuing to provide market-leading expertise, insights and proven capability for clients across all its service lines.

These promotions also underscore the firm’s commitment to nurturing talent within the Cairns community. Each of the newly appointed leaders has built their career serving local and regional clients, combining deep technical expertise with a strong understanding of the unique opportunities and challenges facing businesses in the region. Their appointments reflect Grant Thornton’s long-standing belief that investing in people is essential to delivering exceptional outcomes for clients.
