Grant Thornton welcomes new Corporate Finance Partner in Melbourne

Grant Thornton is delighted to announce Ashley Miller has joined the Corporate Finance service line where he will specialise in Transaction Advisory Services.

Commencing in the Melbourne office in early April, Ashley brings over 20 years’ experience of advising local and international clients. With a professional background working in Transaction Advisory Services teams at Big 4 firms, as well as industry exposure in CFO and senior finance roles, Ashley brings depth and breadth to his advisory role at Grant Thornton.

“I’m delighted to join the Grant Thornton partnership, and I am eager to dive into advising clients on transactions across a range of industries. I enjoy helping guide clients through the transaction process, using my skills and experience to add value and work through challenges across all stages of the economic cycle. I aim to assist my clients and give them confidence when undertaking activities during – what tends to be – a demanding process.

"Beyond advising on the numbers, I aim to connect with the people and organisations I work with. The team at Grant Thornton has already been so welcoming and I feel privileged to join a business where I can continue to draw on my extensive knowledge in a high-performing environment,” said Ashley Miller, Partner – Corporate Finance

Holly Stiles, Partner and National Head of Corporate Finance said, “With the unique blend of industry and transaction expertise, Ashley takes a different perspective when advising clients. His experience leading large-scale transactions, being a business-side strategic advisor, finance leader and CFO, will be valuable when guiding clients on their strategic business decisions. Our national Corporate Finance team is excited to have Ashley on board and look forward to collaborating with him across various client engagements.”

In addition to his prior experience as a Transaction Advisory Services Partner at a Big 4 firm, Ashley has strong industry exposure in senior finance roles across growth companies as well as healthcare businesses. Throughout his industry experience, Ashley played key roles across financial, operational and corporate development activities, including advising on M&A and investment opportunities.
