Jackson is a governance, risk and compliance specialist who supports clients to strengthen their oversight and assurance practices. He focuses on delivering practical solutions that help organisations make informed decisions and manage risk effectively.

Jackson works primarily with public sector clients across local, state, and Commonwealth government, as well as the higher education and for-purpose sectors. His work includes developing and reviewing risk management frameworks, internal audit programs, and governance models. He also provides assurance over major public capital projects, helping clients manage complexity and improve delivery outcomes.

Jackson is actively involved in the risk and audit community of practice and is currently a Councillor for the Queensland Chapter of the Institute of Internal Auditors. His involvement in these networks supports his understanding of emerging practices and strengthens his ability to deliver relevant and reliable advice to clients.

Experience

• Internal Audit – Jackson works with clients in the implementation and management of internal audit programs (including outsourced and co-sourced models), development of Internal Audit strategies, assessment of internal controls, process mapping, quality assurance and working with Boards and Audit & Risk Committees.
• Program and Project Assurance – Jackson provides independent, forward-looking assurance across complex capital infrastructure programs and projects, including project health checks, gateway reviews, program evaluations, and other bespoke assurance activities.
• Risk Management – Partners with clients to design and refine Risk Management Frameworks that are practical, purposeful, and aligned to appetite. He simplifies the complex translating risk into action through clear policies, appetite statements, and delegation models that support decision-making.
• Governance and Operating Model Reviews – Jackson works closely with Boards, Executives, and senior leaders to challenge the status quo and reimagine governance and operating models. He brings a fresh lens to structure, accountability, and decision rights ensuring models are fit-for-purpose, future-ready, and built for impact.
