Rena is recognised for combining strong technical capability with a relationship-led approach to support clients make decisions aligned with their long‑term objectives. Rena takes the time to understand the people behind the business, as well as the commercial drivers, and is known for building trust with key stakeholders and managing complex business relationships.
Rena regularly guides clients through periods of change, including restructures and transactions, tax compliance and reporting for multi entity private groups. She works closely with privately owned businesses and family groups across a range of industries, including real estate and construction, transport and the resources sector.
Beyond client work, Rena is passionate about developing people and fostering an inclusive culture. She is actively involved in Grant Thornton’s diversity initiatives, including Gender Equity Network (GEN) and the Cultural & Racial Diversity Advisory Group, and is a visible mentor and leader both within the firm and the broader business community.

- Real Estate & Construction – Advising property developers, investors and property syndicators on structuring and lifecycle matters.
- Business and corporate restructures – Leading restructures, including tax consolidated groups and corporate reorganisations.
- Transactions and business sales – Advising on acquisitions, disposals and exit strategies.
- Tax compliance and reporting – Managing tax compliance for large private groups, including general purpose financial statements.
- Trust and group structures – Advising on trust and multi‑entity structures, distributions, losses and Division 7A.
