CHICAGO and SYDNEY – Grant Thornton Australia’s partners have voted to join the Grant Thornton Advisors multinational platform, a rapidly expanding group of nearly 20 aligned firms spanning the Americas, Europe, the Middle East and the Asia Pacific region.
The transaction is expected to accelerate Grant Thornton Australia’s growth strategy, expanding its access to world‑class AI and technology capabilities, while creating compelling career pathways for its next generation of partners and high‑performing professionals.
Importantly, the local market culture and agility that define Grant Thornton Australia will be preserved whilst the business will also continue to provide best-in-class advisory and tax services, with its audit practice remaining committed to independence and stringent governance.
Completion is expected in late August 2026, subject to standard regulatory conditions.
