Working in mid-market M&A means I’m often engaged at defining moments in my clients’ lives – whether that’s raising growth capital, planning for succession, or navigating key strategic decisions. My role goes beyond technical expertise; it’s about being a trusted adviser who listens, challenges, and supports with clarity and empathy to help achieve outcomes that are not only commercially successful but also aligned with what matters most to them personally.

Director - Financial Advisory (Mergers & Acquisitions)
Director - Partner Growth and Firm M&A

Naz has over 15 year’s of experience supporting business owners and founders, Boards, Executive teams, and key external stakeholders through mergers and acquisitions (M&A) transactions and restructuring engagements. His multi-disciplinary background encompasses the full breadth of the corporate advisory role including buy- and sell-side M&A mandates, strategic reviews, fundraisings, transactional due diligence advisory, and corporate restructuring services.

Naz is known for his expertise in dealing with complex ‘special situation’ engagements, where his wide-ranging experience and exposure to a range of industries and business situations, uniquely positions him to be able to deal with complex issues, understand specific transactional value drivers, and lead commercial negotiations.

Naz also works closely with the CEO, Head of Partner Growth & Firm M&A, and senior leaders within Grant Thornton to identify strategic focus areas and execute on lateral hires and firm M&A transactions to deliver upon the firm’s growth strategy.
