Principal - Management Consulting

Nick has worked with Grant Thornton since 2019. He is a retail professional with 25 years industry experience and started his career in the UK in Operations, Store Development and Merchandise leadership roles at ASDA. After 18 months leading the Leisure Buying Division at Wm Morrison Supermarkets Plc, Nick became the Managing Director of the Morrison's Global Sourcing business in Hong Kong, leading the product sourcing, finance, QA, ethical and supply chain functions.

Nick moved to Melbourne in 2015 to join Target, where he spent 4 years as the Hardgoods Merchandise General Manager, reporting to the COO, driving a customer centric strategy, leading a large buying, merchandise planning, QA and design team across Homewares, Toys, General Merchandise and Beauty.

Nick’s diverse industry experience and in depth understanding of the end to end retail process from manufacture through the value chain to in-store execution enables him to develop strategies to drive operating model transformation, deliver improvements and cost savings for clients with complex transformation challenges.
