Grant Thornton returns as sponsor for the Technology Scale-up Awards

Celebrating Australian technology businesses, the Technology Scale-up Awards are now in their second year and once again sponsored by Grant Thornton.

Entries are now open to technology business that can demonstrate high rates of sustainable growth, as well as innovation, integrity, and contribution to community, or making a significant impact in their industry sectors. The Awards will be hosted virtually on Wednesday 24 August, 2022.

Raj Deepan, Partner – Private Business Tax & Advisory at Grant Thornton, and judge on this year’s Awards Panel said: “Our 2022 Dealtracker Report showed technology businesses continue to dominate the Mergers & Acquisitions landscape confirming the strong acquirer appetite in this sector – particularly amongst private equity managers. The Report also highlighted tech-enabled businesses in other industries are heavily investing in innovation and digital capabilities. As technology and innovation business investment grows, we expect to see even more nominations in the Technology Scale-up Awards this year.”

Grant Thornton joins other headline sponsors including Hamilton Locke, MA Financial Group, and Source.

Eligible technology business applicants in 2022 will have been in operation for two or more years and have annual revenue up to AUD $25 million, having been founded in Australia or with majority Australian ownership. This excludes nominations in the ‘One to Watch’ category, for which the turnover requirement is up to $3 million. Nominations will be assessed by an independent panel of judges.

EdTech of the Year Award

Business and Professional Services of the Year Award
