Tam brings over 14 years of professional services experience, including 3 years in Audit and more than 11 years in Corporate Finance. Tam has collaborated with a diverse range of businesses, from small privately-owned enterprises to publicly listed companies in both South Africa and Australia.

Tam's expertise lies in buy and sell side financial due diligence and IPO advisory, complemented by skills in market research and strategic reviews. Tam has experience across multiple industries, with a particular focus on retail and consumer, real estate and construction, food and beverage, and consulting and IT sectors.

Tam is an active member of Grant Thornton’s Retail & Consumer Products industry team. Tam has attended the National Retail Federation conference, ‘Retail’s Big Show APAC’, bringing valuable insights back to retail clients and stakeholders in the sector, leveraging this knowledge to enhance retail transactions.

  • Financial due diligence on pre-lend and re-finance reviews.
  • Investigating Accountant roles on initial public offerings on the ASX.
  • Business health checks covering historical and forecast financial performance, financial position, working capital and cash flow reviews.
