National Head of Transfer Pricing
In his role as national leader of transfer pricing, Jason is responsible for all Grant Thornton Australia’s transfer pricing related services. He also leads Grant Thornton’s transfer pricing service line in Asia Pacific.
Jason has over 14 years’ experience as an Economist specialising in transfer pricing issues. Jason has successfully advised numerous multinational companies on transfer pricing risk management and using transfer pricing to align operational and tax strategies. He has extensive experience preparing transfer pricing documentation for compliance, audit defence, commercial justification and strategic planning purposes. In addition, Jason has significant experience assisting clients with the processes of the Australian Tax Office, including transfer pricing record reviews and audits, and the negotiation of Advance Pricing Arrangements.
Jason has significant international transfer pricing experience. In addition to his experience in Australia and the Asia Pacific region, he has worked in the Netherlands where he assisted clients preparing and coordinating pan-European transfer pricing planning and documentation projects. Jason has also spent considerable time in Calgary, Canada, specialising in transfer pricing issues relating to the Energy & Resources industry.
Prior to focusing on transfer pricing, Jason provided macroeconomic advisory services.
