Thomas joined the team in early 2009, having spent eight years working in expatriate tax departments of big four firms in both the UK and Australia.
Thomas currently takes responsibility for the day-to-day coordination of the expatriate tax work within the Tax division in Sydney. He and his team advise clients on a range of issues from Income Tax and Fringe Benefits Tax to Superannuation Guarantee considerations for expatriates and Payroll.
Thomas has experience in the following areas:

- Fringe Benefits Tax
His recent assignments include:
- Thomas has recently worked on a global engagement for the big four with more than 500 assignees to/from Australia and more than 2000 worldwide.
- He undertook a six month secondment to work within the HR department of a client to manage the day-to-day operations of the internal Global Mobility team.
- Thomas has also recently been responsible for updating numerous clients on the significant changes to Australian tax legislation regarding the treatment of Employee Share Schemes
