Richard commenced his career as a customs broker and industrial engineer specialising in supply chain and now advises clients on customs and trade strategy, customs duty reduction, transfer pricing in relation to customs valuation, process improvements and supply chain reengineering.
With a strong focus on manufacturing, automotive, life sciences and mining industry sectors, Richard’s key skills includes: advising on global trade and customs implications of customs duty management, trade compliance, customs valuation, customs disputes, voluntary disclosures, trade facilitation and strategic advice relating to global trade and supply chain optimisation, In-House customs clearance and bonded warehouse controls from operational procedures through to controls and governance.
Richard has also lived and worked in the United Kingdom, Ireland, New Zealand and since 2005 in Australia.
