Grant Thornton adds two new Partners nationally

Grant Thornton announces the recent appointment of two new Partners nationally across CFO Advisory and Risk Consulting, reinforcing the firm’s commitment to growing at pace in an evolving professional services market.

Margot Le Bars, Partner – CFO Advisory joins the firm with over 30 years of experience in corporate reporting, audit quality and risk, advising on IFRS and capital market transactions. Holding multiple senior roles, she brings deep expertise across a variety of industries and markets, bolstering the current expertise throughout the firm. Based in the Melbourne office, Margot will work nationally to assist clients with navigating complex transactions, providing support to sustain and grow their businesses. 

Kate Monckton, Partner – Risk Consulting brings a career in cyber and privacy spanning over 20 years in global technology companies, consulting firms and industry. She will be based in the Sydney office, leading the cyber resilience practice to complement the existing cyber capability and to continue driving growth of the firm’s Risk Consulting business, which has grown 20 per cent year on year since 2021.
