Grant Thornton welcomes new Management Consulting Partner in Sydney

Divya Krishnan has joined Grant Thornton Australia as a Partner in its Sydney Management Consulting team, specialising in workforce transformation and operating model design.

With more than 20 years’ experience in the private and public sector, Divya brings practical expertise in organisational transformation, AI readiness, change management and workforce redesign. Her career has progressed from hands-on project and change management roles in the transport sector to senior consulting leadership roles with a people focus.

This appointment will help clients navigate transformation as organisations contend with the current economic conditions and the impact of AI producing tighter budgets and ongoing margin pressures.

Divya Krishnan, Partner – Management Consulting said: “Organisations are experiencing unprecedented levels of disruption, and they are looking for trusted guidance through this transition. I’m thrilled to be joining Grant Thornton at a time when my skills can help existing and future clients navigate change and complexity when the end-state is ever-evolving. I’m equally excited to work with and learn from the firm’s talented consultants across Australia.

“What drew me to Grant Thornton was its commitment to shaping better futures for clients, its people and the community. I knew it was an organisation I wanted to be part of, and I’m looking forward to supporting clients across the private and public sector,” continued Divya.

Wi Liem Chua – Partner and National Head of Management Consulting said: “Most organisations aren’t short of strategy. Where they struggle is making change work for the people who must deliver it, especially as AI reshapes roles and ways of working. Divya strengthens our ability to help clients redesign their workforce and operating models in a way that can be sustained as budget and productivity pressures rise. Her appointment reflects our continued focus on growing our presence in the Sydney market.”

Divya joins Douglas Foster, Eve Moodley and David Fennell among recent Partner appointments, reinforcing Grant Thornton Australia’s continued focus on delivering remarkable client service and growth.
